Insurance & Payment
Coverage, Fees, and payment options
Uptown Psychotherapy accepts Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). Coverage can vary by plan and therapist, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first appointment to confirm that your therapist is in-network and to understand your deductible, copay, or coinsurance.
All other insurance plans are considered out-of-network. Payment for the full session fee is due at the time of your appointment. If you have out-of-network benefits, contact your insurance provider to learn about your coverage and claim process. Your therapist can provide the information needed to submit a claim upon request.
Self-pay sessions are charged at the time of your appointment. We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA cards. Billing information and invoices can be accessed through the Client Portal.
